What’s the Alternative to Dyson Vacuum?

The Dyson vacuum is extremely well rated and highly praised by its many users. A combination of excellent marketing and good quality product design has made this the latest must-have cleaning appliance.

As you may have guessed by now, they are also on the expensive side. In fact they can cost around $500 to $700.

Some people think that’s just too much for a vacuum, but is there any cheaper alternative that will deliver the same results?

You do Get What You Pay For

Unfortunately, the better the vacuum, the more it is going to cost you. It’s just the way of life. If you buy a $50 one from your local department store, it’s going to make the carpet look clean but not get the dust and mites that are buried deep within.

A cheap vacuum that does not have high sucking power is also not going to pick up excess pet hair and small particles of dust. That may not seem like a big deal but in reality; it can make a big difference to your health.

Those tiny things you don’t even notice can cause sneezing and rashes and can even cause you to get sick more often. If you often feel stuffy or lacking in energy when you’re inside your home, it could very well be because your carpet is not sufficiently vacuumed.

The fact is, Dysons are so expensive because people are willing to pay that much for a top quality product and a clean, healthy home. Plus, these vacuums are known to last for years so they won’t need to be replaced as often as a cheap model might.

But what if it just costs too much?

Alternative to a Dyson

A great alternative to a Dyson is the Eureka Airspeed vacuum.  This upright model is not as user friendly as a Dyson. It’s a little trickier to maneuver and it’s not laid out quite as nicely. It’s also only around $120. The suction power is very good and it will be able to clean deep within your carpet and has been known to last for years.

There’s no arguing the fact that the more you are willing to pay for a vacuum, the better quality you are going to get. If you simply don’t have the funds for a Dyson, the Eureka Airspeed will serve you well. The attachments are easy to remove and put on and it cleans along walls well.

The long handle makes it easier to clean underneath furniture and is also easier on your back. And yes, it even picks up dog hair. It will need to be cleaned and maintained if you want it to last but the parts are available on the Eureka website.

Considering the price and quality of this vacuum cleaner, it can be an excellent, cheaper alternative to a Dyson. Regularly vacuuming your home will improve your health and home greatly and you can do it without forking out big money for a top brand name vacuum.
